Trove is a social cataloging app that lets you keep track of everything you own records, books, LEGO sets, trading cards, sneakers, and more. You can organize your collection into categories, track what you've lent to friends, and see what the people you follow own and love.

Yes Trove is free to download on iOS and Android. Some features may be available as paid upgrades in the future, but core cataloging and social features are available to all users.

Anything you own. Trove supports any category vinyl records, books, movies, LEGO sets, trading cards, sneakers, clothing, art, games, and more. You can scan barcodes, upload photos, or add items manually.

Three ways: scan a barcode with your camera, upload a photo (Trove will try to identify the item automatically), or add it manually by entering the details yourself. You can then organize items into custom collections and label them as owned, lent, or archived. Archived items move out of your active collection into a separate archive folder — useful for anything you've sold, donated, or given away.

You can search for friends by username or share your profile link with them. Once connected, you'll be able to see their public collections, favorite their items, and discover what you have in common.

Yes. You can mark individual shelves or items as private (only you), friends-only, or public. Your personal notes on items are always private only you can see them, regardless of your collection visibility settings.

When you look up or scan an item, Trove will show you if any of your friends already own it so you can wishlist it instead of buying a duplicate, borrow it, or just bond over having the same taste.

When you lend something to a friend, tap the item and mark it as "lent" you can note who has it and when you lent it. Trove will send a gentle reminder when it's time to ask for it back.

Quests are small weekly tasks tied to how you actually use Trove adding items, organizing a collection, confirming lent items, or favoriting a friend's collection. Complete quests to earn XP and unlock shelf themes and badges.

XP unlocks cosmetic shelf themes, profile badges, and other decorations for your collection. Everything earnable through quests is free there's no pay-to-win.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Trove. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or legal guardian.

No limit. Add as many items as you own across as many collections as you want. Trove is designed to grow with your collection.

You can browse your existing collection offline, but adding new items, syncing, and social features require an internet connection.

You can add any item to your wishlist — things you want but don't own yet. Your friends can see your wishlist, which makes gift-giving a lot easier. You can also see your friends' wishlists so you always know what to get them.

When you archive an item it moves out of your active collection into a separate archive folder. You can note who you gave it to, sold it to, or when you got rid of it — so you always have a record without it cluttering your collection. Think of it like a "no longer mine" pile. Great for anything you've sold, donated, gifted, or just moved on from.

Yes. You can create shareable collection cards — a beautiful snapshot of your collection — and share them to Instagram, messages, or anywhere else. Your profile can also be set to public so anyone can browse it, even without the app.

Your Chest is where your earned rewards live. As you complete quests and earn XP, you unlock cosmetic items — shelf themes, badges, stickers, and decorations — that show up in your Chest. It's your collection of collectibles, inside your collection app.

When you delete your account all of your personal data, collections, items, and activity are permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. This action cannot be undone, so make sure you want to proceed before confirming deletion.

Data export is not currently available but is on our roadmap. We believe your collection data belongs to you and plan to add export functionality in a future update.
